Middle Finger Theory is a Nu Metal / Experimental band from New Delhi, formed in 2009. Their music is a mélange of Heavy Metal and NuMetal consisting of catchy yet ear ripping riffs, fuzzy and dominating bass lines with some extra crunch, precise drum patterns often played at ridiculous speeds, topped with melodious rap, growls and screeches with some killer work on the Turntables and Synth by DJ Navendu which confers a completely different sound. They are open to experiment and have a wide range of influences from Deftones, Limp Bizkit, Linkin Park, to Tool, Radiohead, Incubus, Sleepytime Gorilla Museum. They have been doing a few gigs across New Delhi lately and have managed a pretty decent fan base too. Soon the energies started to resonate as a result of which the band got short listed for the Unseen Underground Pub fest and the first track got featured on the California State University's Global Radio known as KBeach Radio following which the band also got short listed for RSJ Pubrockfest and played alongside Undying Inc and Rabbit is Rich. Shortlisted for Kingfisher Rash Rockrum Pub Fest and played along with Jester and October. The lyrics of the songs revolve around quests of the divine human mind, skepticism about reality, Consciousness and social stigmas & evils which haunt our society. The band believes in making music which gets you thinking as soon as your neurons transmit it through your ears to the most divine thing in the whole cosmos, YOUR MIND!
