Lakkhichhara is a Rock band from Kolkata, formed in 1999 by the revolutionary music composer, singer, song writer, performer and film maker Late Gautam Chattopadhyay (father of Gaurav, the drummer). They started playing as a Soft Rock band in the year of formation but gradually changed to Rock and Hard Rock, and then finally becoming Kolkata's first ever Progressive Rock band.
