Patronymic is a Post-Hardcore band from Delhi, formed in January 2011 by Niranjay and Ronik who initially played in a new Thrash Metal band called ‘Gust of Guttural’. The word ‘Patronymic’ means ‘ancestral name’. Since, metal genre has been played since ages now, thus, as a salute to the artists and keeping the band members ideals and interests in mind, ‘Patronymic’ came into existence.
