Parijaat is a Folk-Fusion band from Kolkata, formed in July 2007. Some dedicated youth with dreams in their soul, felt that they must express their thinking, feelings and desires to other people about the present society and time they belong. So they choose the only way they knew. MUSIC. Only Music. And nothing but Music. And from that very moment the ball started rolling. Parijaat Bangla Gaaner Dal was formed.
