Jambili is a Folk-Fusion band from Diphu (Assam), formed somewhere in 2007. Their songs talk about contemporary issues of the society that needs immediate justice and attention. Jambili don’t confine itself to any particular genre of music. It is a progressive fusion of karbi folk music with all the other musical style till jazz & heavy metal. Since the band sings of freedom it believes in practicing freedom in its music too. It is very much a protest band.
