Jaagar is an Alternative / Folk Rock band from Pune, formed in 2013. The bass guitar and drums responsibilities are currently taken up by various session artists and the lyrics are penned by Nivedita Agashe. The band wanted to bring together the nuances of various forms of music which inspired them and then infuse it with their own unique sound. The band's sound is inspired from a plethora of influences and genres ranging from Hard Rock, Progressive Rock and Metal to Indian Classical music.
