Amrit Rao & The Madrascals is a Rock band from Chennai, formed in 2017. It is a multi-genre act with strong and intriguing lyrical content, has a wall of sound that is unique, quirky and distinctly their own, a global sound with a local flavour. The music and lyrics draw inspiration from the city of Chennai, formerly called Madras. The band has a fantastic line-up of musicians from Chennai, who bring in their influences and musical styles.
