Gowwli is an experimental Folk-Rock band from Auroville (Tamil Nadu). Gowwli in literal sense means Lizards, which symbolises survival and regeneration; A Tale of a Tail - An eternal cycle of transformation through music. The band is known for their unique and eclectic blend of traditional folk music elements with contemporary rock and experimental sounds.
