Cannibals is a pioneering Heavy Metal band from Manipur, formed in 1986 under the name Machine Head. They were among the first bands in India to bring metal to the stage, playing songs by Judas Priest, Black Sabbath, AC/DC, Nazareth and Iron Maiden. They weren’t just a band. They were a movement from the hills proving that great music can rise from anywhere.
