Intoxicate is a New Age Metalcore band from Kolkata, formed on September 2010. After several changes in the line-up, the band zeroed with a stable line-up. Dedication for Heavy Metal music was the common aspect in each and every member of the band and hence the band started with a goal to make original Heavy Metal music. After a lot of jamming and hard work the band members came up with a kind of genre which was more of an Experimental Metal sound but with very interesting grooves to complement their love for melody and head-banging music at the same time. From the beginning their main focus was to create original heavy metal music with the power to make everyone band their heads, while being mesmerized with bone crushing drum grooves and face melting guitar solos and riffs. They have released their debut EP 'Dawn of Apathy' in February 2013 via Pune based record label 'Chaos Records'. Currently the band is working on their upcoming album titled 'Memories'.
