Poured On Ice is an Alternative Rock band from Delhi, formed in 2008. Four boys met at a party, Rushabh and Ishan, who were the remaining members of an upcoming band called "Poured on Ice" that was keen on getting back on track, got into the longest conversation on music with Dev and Divesh. Conversation turned to bonding that turned into a band that has been actively performing across India. The band has played shows in Delhi, Pune, Chennai, Jaipur etc and has been appreciated for their unique sound and energy on stage. Musically fun and some of them even visually funny, the boys have had a decent share of travel with invitation to the Kingfisher fest at Cafe Mambo's, Goa; Not Just Jazz By The Bay, Pune and Hard Rock Cafe, Delhi. The band are now in the process of compiling and composing music for their full length album. Poured on ice continues to push forward at a staggering rate and shows no sign of loosing steam. With influences ranging from Clapton and Springsteen to Red Hot Chilli Peppers and Incubus, Poured on Ice is constantly experimenting with varied sounds and genres and have evolved their music from funk, hard rock and electronic influences into something that is creatively and musically experimental while keeping it familiar. They call it "electro-fun-kock". Poured on ice headlined the Rock band competition in NSIT in 2010 and were the opening act for the international act from UK-Sylosis.
