Peter Cat Recording Co. or PCRC is a Gypsy Jazz / Cabaret band from Delhi, formed in 2009. The band started as a solo project of Suryakant Sawhney. The sound is inspired by 60s/70s Bollywood music, which was in turn inspired by American music of the 50s, such as big band music and soul. Lyrically, they choose to write about prostitutes, deception, android artists and films coming to life.
