Turfe is an Indie / Ambient Rock band from Kolkata, formed in December 2009 as an acoustic ambient project. The name is an ode of sorts to the people, memories and feelings related to the place that makes them who they are. Turfe went underground for a year writing songs and getting to know each other as musicians.
