Rusty Moe is a Classic Rock band from Chennai, formed somewhere in the end of 2007 and one of the very few bands that keep classic rock alive. With nu metal and trash metal taking over the rock scene, the classic rock does not get the recognition it deserves now. Most of the new kids now grow up not knowing classics from Floyd, Purple or Whitesnake. They enjoy bringing the classic era to the audience through their playing. Having played with different bands while in college since 1997, the common factor for all of us is our love for classic rock. The band was the first in India to release a Christmas single. They recorded their version of the "Rockin Around The Christmas Tree" in December 2008, which received a huge response from fans and others. They released their second Christmas single in December 2011. It was a version of "Silver Bells" which was once again well received by fans.
